PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATORS

MSMRC fosters collaboration across disciplines and specialties in order to encourage innovation. While individual research groups work on the disease areas in which they are experts, they also work together in the discovery of causes and possible treatments for long-term complications that are common to many chronic diseases. To that end, brainstorming sessions with investigators in these different disease areas are held regularly to identify important questions, write joint grant applications, and coordinate the relevant scientific research. This arrangement allows researchers to enjoy a level of collaboration to enrich their own research goals and interests.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Our research programs are funded primarily by grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and private donations. These help accelerate the progress of research through the purchase of laboratory supplies and equipment or the recruitment of additional laboratory personnel. Thank you!
